Pre-Employment Screening
A pre-employment screening helps to determine the fitness of an employee to complete the role and includes reviewing previous health concerns and any adjustments which may be required to assist them to complete the role effectively. This assists employers to fulfil their responsibilities of making reasonable adjustments in line with Equality Act 2010 and Health and Safety Act 1974

Noise Health Surveillance
Noise Health surveillance is testing completed on employees with job roles where they are frequently exposed to 85db(A), peak sound pressure 137db(C) or with increase risk of hearing impairment. This complies with Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005.

Respiratory and Skin Health Surveillance
This is spirometry, visual skin observation and blood pressure testing to monitor those employees exposed to hazardous substances or respiratory sensitisers within their daily work tasks. This complies with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulation 2002.

HAVS Health Surveillance
This testing has a variety of tiers from Tier 1 (questionnaire) to Tier 5 (review by OHP and standardized testing) for employees that may exceed exposure of 2.5m/s2 A(8) or at increased risk. This meets Control of Hand Vibration at Work Regulations 2007.

Asbestos Medical Surveillance
The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 require that each employee who is exposed to asbestos is under medical surveillance. This is further specialized by employees demographic, medical history, respiratory system, and when exposed above Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL). This includes respiratory questionnaire, respiratory examination and spirometry test.

Lead Medical Surveillance
The Control of Lead at Work Regulations 2012 applies to; Inorganic Lead Workers exposed to inorganic lead where breathing zone sampling indicates that the 8h TWA is greater than half the lead in air standard of 0.15mg/m3. Organic Lead Workers exposed to lead alkyls where breathing zone sampling indicates that the 8h TWA is greater than half the lead in air standard 0.10mg/m3. Or there is risk of dermal absorption. This includes; Physical Examination, blood tests and review of medical records.

The Ionising Radiation Regulations 1999 apply to work involving production, use, storage or transportation of radioactive substances or the use of electrical equipment that emits ionising radiation.
