Management Referrals

A management referral can be made to Innovate when there are concerns regarding the health of your employees and the manager requires a clear and independent opinion on the employees’ fitness for work. Management referrals can be made for frequent short-term absences, patterns of absence, long term absence, alternated behaviour and/or if health issues are impairing and employee’s ability to perform optimally in work.

What do they involve?

Our management referrals involve professional and impartial advice on how underlying health concerns are impacting your employees’ work absence or performance, and practical steps to help them return to work in a sustainable manner. This includes a consultation, comprehensive report, and potentially further follow-up or case management.

In addition to providing reasonable adjustments for your employees, we also offer direct advice for employees to optimize their own self-management and support their return to work.
