Management Referrals
A management referral can be made to Innovate when there are concerns regarding the health of your employees and the manager requires a clear and independent opinion on the employees’ fitness for work. Management referrals can be made for frequent short-term absences, patterns of absence, long term absence, alternated behaviour and/or if health issues are impairing and employee’s ability to perform optimally in work.
What do they involve?
We provide you with professional and impartial advice to enable you to recognise how any underlying health concerns are impacting your employees’ work absence or performance, and then take you through the practical steps you can take to help them return to work in a timely yet sustainable manner.
This is achieved through a consultation followed by a comprehensive report, and occasionally further follow up or case management.
As well as providing you with reasonable adjustments to support your employee, we provide direct advice to your employees to help them optimise their own self-management.
