Supporting employees and managers with practical, strengths-based strategies to navigate ADHD in the workplace and create more inclusive, sustainable ways of working.
Our approach to ADHD Workplace Coaching
We understand that ADHD can affect people in different ways at work, from managing competing priorities and deadlines to maintaining focus, organisation, communication and wellbeing. Managers may also be unsure how best to provide appropriate support while maintaining clear expectations.
Our specialist ADHD workplace support, delivered in partnership with neurobox, provides personalised guidance for both employees and line managers. Our neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach focuses on understanding individual strengths, preferences, support needs and workplace challenges, rather than asking people to fit a standard way of working.
Employees can develop practical strategies to manage workplace demands, build confidence and work in ways that align with their strengths. Managers can gain greater understanding and confidence in providing appropriate support, communication and reasonable adjustments.
The coaching can also support employees with Autism and other neurodiversity needs and workplace challenges.
What is ADHD Workplace Coaching?
Our ADHD workplace support includes two services, providing tailored support for both employees and line managers.
ADHD Employee Coaching provides four 1-hour 1:1 coaching sessions for employees who have ADHD, are awaiting assessment or are experiencing ADHD-related challenges at work. Sessions are tailored to the individual and may explore time management and prioritisation, organisation and executive functioning, focus and concentration, communication and working relationships, and wellbeing and resilience.
ADHD Line Manager Consultation provides a 1-hour 1:1 session for managers supporting an employee with ADHD. The consultation can help managers understand how ADHD-related traits may present at work and develop practical approaches to communication, reasonable adjustments, workload, expectations, feedback and performance support.
Both services are practical and collaborative, focusing on developing realistic and sustainable workplace strategies, removing barriers and supporting people to work effectively in ways that align with their strengths.
Who is the service for?
The service is for employees who:
- Have a diagnosis of ADHD and are experiencing workplace challenges
- Are awaiting assessment but are experiencing ADHD-related difficulties at work
- Are struggling with organisation, prioritisation, focus or managing competing demands
- Are experiencing stress, overwhelm or difficulties managing workplace demands
- Would benefit from practical strategies to support confidence, wellbeing and effectiveness
- The coaching can also support employees with Autism and other neurodiversity needs
The service can also support line managers who:
- Are supporting an employee with ADHD
- May also require support with employees with Autism and other neurodiversity needs
- Want to better understand ADHD and its potential impact at work
- Need guidance around communication, expectations or reasonable adjustments
- Are experiencing workplace challenges around performance, organisation or workload
- Would benefit from practical, neuroinclusive management strategies
The service can also provide value to organisations that want to strengthen their approach to neurodiversity and create more inclusive and sustainable ways of working.
