Helping organisations support neurodiverse employees to create inclusive workplaces and drive positive change for individuals, managers and businesses.
Our approach to Neurodiversity Workplace Needs Assessments
We understand that lengthy assessment waits can have a significant impact on employee wellbeing, productivity and workplace difficulties. It’s therefore critical to ensure neurodiverse employees receive support when they need it, with practical, reasonable workplace adjustments, without the wait.
Our assessors, who also deliver specialist Access to Work Assessments, provide timely, person-centred recommendations that can be implemented immediately. Our approach means employers can reduce sickness absence, and workplace difficulties through better-informed decisions and help neurodiverse employees thrive at work through improved wellbeing, confidence and productivity.
What is a Neurodiversity Workplace Needs Assessment?
It is a structured assessment designed to understand how an individual’s neurodiversity interacts with their working environment, rather than focussing on the diagnosis alone. Our evidence-based recommendations are tailored to the employee, resulting in a clear report to help the individual work effectively and sustainably.
The report may include suggestions such as reasonable workplace adjustments, communication and organisational strategies, environmental adaptations, assistive technology recommendations, workload and task management, sensory considerations and support for managers.
Who is the service for?
The service is for employees who:

- Are returning to work following diagnosis
- Have been referred by Occupational Health
- Require advice on reasonable adjustments
- Would benefit from a structured review of workplace support
The service can also provide value to organisations that want to strengthen their commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion by providing proactive, person-centred workplace adjustments.
